Meet Our Provider 

Carissa is a dual board certified Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioner.

 

She has proudly supported her community through health care for more than seventeen years, working in a variety of clinical roles and settings in Southwest Florida. Her experience includes working as a midwife assistant, doula, medical missions volunteer, pediatric outpatient nurse, and nursing instructor.

 

Carissa earned her first Master of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University and a second in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. She is board certified through the Pediatric Nurse Certifying Board and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Carissa has additionally worked as a pediatric emergency provider for the past seven years. Her extensive experience in fast-paced, high-stress environments has equipped her with the skills and compassion needed to handle a wide range of medical emergencies. Throughout her time in the field, she has remained committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting families during some of their most difficult moments.

Carissa's professional experience additionally includes more than seven years of medical aesthetics. Often referred to as "the ying to her yang", her time in aesthetics has earned her master level skills in injectable, regenerative and laser treatments.
